Some of our goat milk goes to our friend Karla Moore, at Heart of Iowa Soapworks. She uses it to make these wonderful soaps.. and we wanted to be able to share them with you too! Soaps are 4 oz. bars; prices are the same for all pictured here. One bar, $5.00, or 5 or more bars for $4.00 each; you can mix and match.

Legend has it that Cleopatra would frequently bathe in milk to keep her skin smooth, supple and soft. Milk contains vitamins and minerals that are very soothing for your skin. Goat milk soap is known for being especially mild and wonderful for dry, sensitive skin.
All Handmade Soaps in this section contain the following Food Quality oils. Other additives are listed under the individual soaps.
Ingredients: Olive oil, Coconut oil, Palm kernel oil, Milk, Rice bran oil, Palm oil, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor oil, Fragrance and/or Essential oils.
Special Note: The majority of these milk soaps are various shades of tan or brown. This is an indication of the high percentage of milk that was used in their creation. All of my milk soaps contain a minimum of 50% milk for the liquid portion of the recipe.
Just Plain Goatmilk: No added scent or color. This soap is especially mild for sensitive skin and for those that can not use a fragranced soap. Mild enough to be used on babies; just be sure to keep the soap out of their eyes.
Just Plain GoatmealTM: Ground oatmeal is a soothing addition to this bar. Finely ground oat flour used in the bath has been the old stand-by remedy for itchy inflamed skin. This bar has a mild scrubbie texture with no scent added.
Lavender Cream: Pure Essential oils of Lavender and Geranium combine to create a fragrant, scrubbie bar. This has been one of our top requested bars.
Lilac Cream: mmmmmm Lilac! This is my #1 selling fragranced goat milk soap. It smells just like a big purple lilac bush in the spring. Contains Fragrance oils.
GoatmealTMwith Aloe: Aloe Vera Juice is combined with Goat milk to provide a luxurious addition to our oatmeal soap. This soap was a special request from a good customer. This creation went over so well that it has been added to our permanent line. No added scent or color.
Karla makes Chic Sheep Soap especially for us! This 'limited edition' utilizes tallow from our locker lambs, and milk from our goats.. but we think it is near magic that she can turn these ingredients into such a rich-lathering, wonderful-smelling soap! Price is the same for other soaps on this page, $5 per bar. You can assort different soaps for a price break; 5 or more bars are $4 each.
