and finally our spring '05 lambs arrived! It was a busy 18 days in the barn, with 5 sets of triplets born. Our 'experienced' ewes averaged 2.55 lambs each, and our first-timers all had healthy singles..

We leased "Maynard", a fullblood Dorper ram, to add some new blood to our crossbreds.

"Java", our registered Katahdin ram, produced some great lambs!

"Jupiter", our own Dorper ram, sired triplets 4 times this season.

Our 50% Dorper, 50% Katahdin lambs have some fantastic markings.. this ram has a 'lightning bolt' down his face, too.
